Antique Splint Oak Buttocks Basket with Bentwood Handle ~ Great Patina This is an Antique Splint Oak Buttocks Basket with Bentwood Handle and a Great Patina. Measuring 10 3/4" up to the top of the handle x 16" x 10" across top rim. It is in buttocks form, of narrow oak splints and bentwood frame and handle with a nice aged patina in a beautiful chestnut color.The condition is very good. The handle is secure and has a wonderful smooth patina. There are a few small losses to the top rim, bottom where the handle connects below on the bottom side. 2 tight hairlines on the handle.
