Very old hammered bronze temple gong with beater, 12 1/2 inches across and about 2 1/2 inches deep. What I don't know about gongs could fill volumes, so I will just say what I know. (Look at the photos and judge for yourself.) I bought this at an auction. I didn't go t intending to buy a gong, but the sound was magnificent-- LOUD or soft. The metal looks brass, but it is probably bronze with a brass finish or appearance. Honestly, I hate to part with this beautiful piece. The sounds it makes sooth my spirit. I hope it will go to a place w it will be appreciated and allowed to spread its harmony. I am offering an unconditional guarantee on this item. Please read my shipping policies below.
