This auction is for a gorgeous set of Limoges Dinnerware. The person I purchased this set from said it was from late 1800's to early 1900's. T are 62 pieces in all and they are in excellent condition. I am not sure of the pattern name but it is a gorgeous floral pattern with lovely colors. T are pink roses and other flowers that decorate the sides of each piece. T are lavendar colored branches and leaves on the dishes too. Lovely colors of pinks, purples, yellow, greens and a splash of mauve. All the pieces are trimmed in gold. T is a service for 10+ with the exception of the cups and saucers, I only have 8 cups. The set consists of: 11 Dinner Plates~9 3/4" 10 Lunch or Salad Plates~8 1/2" 12 Bread & Butter Plates~6 1/4" 5 Berry Bowls~5" x 1" 11 Saucers 8 Cups 1 Platter~13 3/4" x 10 1/8" 1 Covered Serving Dish with lid~7"tall x 12" long 1 Gravy Boat & attached underplate~3 1/2" tall in center, base measures 9 1/2"x 6 1/2" 1 Serving Veggie Bowl~10 1/2"x 7 1/2" & 2" deep. The condition of the set is excellent and most pieces are mint to near mint. The most common thing I seen with the dishes was some very slight gold wear to some of the edges.
