This is the complete set of Ashton-Drake porcelain doll sisters from Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Each doll was created by artist Wendy Lawton for the Ashton-Drake company. Amy, Beth, Jo, and Meg each had their own talents and personalities and come with an accessory which emphasizes each talent. Amy comes with her sketchpad; Beth comes with her sheet music; Jo comes with her Pilgrim's Progress book; and Meg comes with her stitchery. You will love posing these dolls together with a vintage copy of Little Women and dreaming of days gone by. First published in 1868-69, Louisa May Alcott's inspiring saga Little Women continues to be one of literature's most heartwarming tales of family love and affection. You will love reading this story to your daughter (or to yourself) and imagining these little perfect dolls coming to life. Each has been previously display but is in excellent condition and comes with all the papers and the original box. It's not easy to find the whole set in one place!
