Lot is for a vintage lapel pinback for the AUDUBON SOCIETY--this features the image of a spring robin on a branch of cherry blossom flowers. The pinback is manufactured by BASTIAN BROS. COMPANY--MFGS. OF RIBBON METAL AND CELLULOID NOVELTIES--ROCHESTER, NEW YORK. This has a coil metal pin with a securing loop.Celluloid pin is in beautiful condition--the highly detailed image is perfectly centered on the round, and has no marks, scratches, etc. The celluloid has a very slight yellowish tint consistent with age that does not detract from the overall appearance. There is one small oxidation spot on the outer rim of the back metal form (see photos). Pin arm and loop are both in excellent condition.
