This teacup and saucer belong to my Client’s Mother who would be about 97 years old and owned them for decades. On the Replacements Ltd. web site is printed regarding this pattern: Item#: 438943 --- Manufacturer Status: Not Known Pattern: 1031 by AYNSLEY & SONS, JOHN [AYN1031] Pattern #: 1031 Description: ROSES ON GOLD SHADE This Aynsley & Sons 1031Teacup and Saucer and Dessert or Salad Plate have these characteristics: Materials of Construction: This teacup and saucer are constructed of a white colored porcelain or china that has a rose pink color applied to the border for the saucer and the exterior of the tea cup with a glazed finish. The cup has a design with 4 pink roses and rose buds applied to its interior. The tea cup and saucer have a scalloped edge. The tea cup has a pedestal base or is footed. The rims of the tea cup and saucer, the interior circle on the saucer, and the base rim of the tea cup are trimmed with gold paint.
