This was made about 350 years ago.It is an age in early stages of the Edo period.IMARI is the pottery of SAGA Prefecture in Japan. It is traditional popular pottery.This is really old IMARI ware, and it is never an imitation. It's called SHOKI-IMARI (about 1615-1658).SHOKI-IMARI is work of the period of the 1600s.The style of glaze like this work is the feature of SHOKI-IMARI.Since it is made by one calcination, it is milk white.And this plate is very flat.
