This was made over 300 years ago.It is early period of Japanese Edo era. This is old original. It is never imitation. IMARI is the pottery of SAGA Prefecture in Japan. It is traditional popular pottery.We call IMARI of the age SHOKI-IMARI (early stage of Imari).The blue porcelain of such a tone and work of bottom is a feature of SHOKI-IMARI.This was made as a plate, but has been distorted at the time of burning.It is interesting in its own way.
