Introducing the conversation piece you've been waiting for! Hand-crafted in the Catalonia region of Spain, this unique and colorfully painted terra-cotta figurine is traditionally found gracing the background of Christmas nativity scenes across parts of Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Known as el caganer ("the pooper"), this character has been traced to the 17th century and has come to signify many things including cultural tradition; perceived humor; fertility of the earth; equality of all people. The caganer reinforces the idea that the infant Jesus is God in human form, with all that being human implies. Inscribed at the base of the figurine of our 44th president are the words: "Yes We Can." It stands about 4.5 inches in height and about 2 inches in width.
