Golden age of baseball chess set. Each peice is hand-cast solid pewter with bronze plating applied to American League peices. This set comes with certificate of authenticity #4278 and each peice has a bio that also comes with it as seen in the pic.This is a very nice set for anyone who likes to play chess or like me I only used as a display peice. Can also be mounted on the wall. This set includes fourteen stars, sixteen ball and bat pawns, and two queens with logos of American and national league. The fourteen stars include: babe ruth, ted williams, ty cobb, walter johnson, yogi berra, lou gehrig, jimmie fox, willie mays, stan musial, roy campanella, hank aaron, carl hubbell, rogers hornsby, and jack robinson. The entire set will be shipped in original packaging (two boxes). Enjoy!
