For sale is a GREAT! Antique 18th century American colonial period burl bowl made out of one whole piece of burl wood. It is created in the Primitive Hand Hewn fashion which takes a slightly out of round form. The god created natural pattern in this burl is amazing! Full of whirls that blows my breath away! Judging by its primitive form and patina, it is likely a 18th century creation.The bowl is large in size, roughly 13.5" in diameter and 4" deep. It is in excellent condition. No chips, losses, cracks, or hairlines! Cannot get any better than that for a burl bowl! The wood surface is well maintained over its long history of use. Dry and clean surface. Great ancient looking wood patina.
