Bethill London 1752 Silver Pair case verge fusee Pocket Watch Description: Early silver Pair case verge fusee pocket watch made by the watchmaker Bethill from London 1752. The case is made of silver with hallmarks London 1752. The case in good condition with just minimal dents. Two fine brass hands. Glass with in good condition with minor scratches. Enamel dial in good condition, small chip under the 6, numbers with some surface abraison. The verge fusee movement is working well in all positions with a good balance action and runs the full length of fusee chain. Tompion regulation disc engraved for fast and slow. Decorative pierced balance cock. The gilding is in nice and bright condition. The movement is marked with “G. Bethill London”.. Very nice condition. Blued screws. The clock was checked by my watchmaker. Diameter 43mm, height 25mm. Weight 3oz, or 92g. Over all condition is very nice.Hochfeine Spindeluhr G.
