This brand new mitre was made for the purposes of the Ebay photos only. It usually sells for $165US but is on sale now for $100US (plus postage). The hat size is 23 inches (59cm). We have only one of these beautiful mitres available. This mitre will be offered for sale, made to measure, at the usual price at a later date. Please keep watching for availability. Materials: Absolutly stunning metallic gold/red/gold ecclesiastical brocade featuring the sacred P X (Christos) monogram, the Greek letters Alpha and Omega and crosses set within a classical cosmatesque pattern all picked out in metallic gold with deep red outlines and set on a non-metallic gold background. Lined in red Bemberg silk with a red grosgrain hatband. The mitre is slightly taller than out usual classical mitres to accommodate this beautiful fabric. This is mitre is of patriarchal quality and one of our best yet! Special features: Our mitres are stiffened with a very flexible material that will not crack unlike many commercially made mitres that are stiffened with cardboard. The flexible stiffening makes our mitres very comfortable to wear.
