Measuring about 10-1/2" x 13-3/4", and six pages long, this is the sheet music to "Black Diamond Rag", by Harry J. Lincoln. It is instrumental only (piano), with no lyrics. The front cover art - a disrespectful and racially incorrect portrayal of stereotype black children playing in a coal bucket - is by "New Yorker" cartoonist Quin Hall. It is dated 1914 and published in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, by Vandersloot Music Publishing Company. The music is totally useable, and the cover art is in good and frameable condition, although it is a little creased and rubbed, with some nicks and tears around the edges. Also, the spine is totally slit from top to bottom, and t is a faded music store stamp near the bottom of the coal bucket, and the number "10" in pencil at the upper right corner.
