Amazingly beautiful Asymmetrical Thistle Motif Crystal Bowl signed by Austrian Glass Artist Josef Svarc for the Caesar Art Crystal Collection by Glassworks Bohemia Podebrady of Czechoslovakia and approved by the Council of Artistic Design as a bonified work of art. All aspects of decoration are deep hand-cut. No acid etching is used. Every detail has been cut and ground. The sides of the bowl bow outward in a convex arc. The signature "S V A R C" is located at the top of the side of the bowl. 15 1/4" diameter x 2 1/2" depth. Excellent condition. The clarity is clear. No cracks, chips or scratches. Value - $1,800. In Czechoslovakia, Crystal by Svarc begins at $1000. Comes with a blue presentation box.
