A genuine antique English brass hanging or standing box which was probably used for candles or possibly wax tapers or spills. The colour is excellent both inside and out. It is also in excellent all round original condition and free from any cracks, repairs or damage of any kind. It has a serpentine shape to the front which is an attractive feature. It measures 5 inches in height excluding the loop and 6.25 inches in width and 3 inches in depth.
