Up for auction is a rare, unmarked Buermann Hercules Bronze Lone Star pattern bit (# 1398 in the Buermann catalogue). The bit is all original, tight, and intact, and has the half breed mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is a standard 5" wide, cheeks are app. 6 1/2" long. The bit is in very good condition, has some very minor cheekpiece bend, as shown in photos. Bit is a darker hercules bronze color - color variation in photos is due to the use of flash in some pictures.
