This is a very interesting liqueur decanter. It is made of glassâe¦which has some bubblesâe¦. with a brass colored overlay decorated with fleur de lis that reads: BUSTANOBY FRERES N.Y. FORBIDDEN FRUIT .. It also has etched markings on the bottom. I am guessing it may have held apple liqueur based on its shape. Is it vintage? âe¦. I canâe(tm)t tellâe¦ but it was purchased at an antique flea market. It is 5" tall and has the typical scratches and marks consistent with age and use. I think it would look lovely used as a vase or simply as a decorative piece on a vanity or shelf. Postage and handling: Please read carefully!
