"STEMLINE# 3103" was manufactured by CAMBRIDGE GLASS of Cambridge, Ohio, from the 1930's - 1950's. In this auction, we offer a SET of SIX #3103 4" high by 2 1/2" wide at the bowl WINE GOBLETS, in the STUNNING "CARMEN"(Ruby Red) - the BOWL IS IN CARMEN while the stem & foot are in crystal. They are all in SUPERB NEVER USED CONDITION without any cracks, chips or nicks, or stains. The Cambridge #3103 Carmen wine goblet has a HIGH VALUATION(priced at $48 each by the leading Replacement Services) and a set of six is a RARE FIND, in that they are nigh onto impossible to find in anything more than 2 of kind. Also, Cambridge is difficult to identify and stemware that is oftimes offered as Cambridge, is actually from another maker. Hocking, Bryce & Fry made similiar ball stemmed goblets, however, by checking the crystal parts above and below the ball(in the Bryce version, t is no crystal "spacer" between the ball and the underside of the bowl), the shape of the bowl(Fry version is completely different), the shape of the ball(Cambridge version is NOT completely round but, "squashed" or more "oval like", while the Bryce version has a completley rounded ball) and the design of the foot(Hocking version has bubbles on the foot). In any event, we GUARANTEE our goblets to be GENUINE ORIGINAL Cambridge #3103 wine goblet with a CARMEN bowl. REF: read more
