CARL ZEISS JENA 210mm f6.3 ANASTIGMAT ( EARLY PROTAR ) BRASS LENS. A rare and desirable large format lens with coverage to 10x8; Zeiss Protar lenses are noted for their sharpness and subtle tonality. This lens measures 5.5 cm long and looks almost chrome colour. Rear of lens contains a detachable flange of 7.75cm in diameter. Condition is averagely good – barrel shows normal wear with age - some blemish marks in places; Optically the lens is in good condition - clear glass, no clouding or scratches just light thin mark at rear element possible glue residues but all working perfectly; a good indication of the iris blades producing perfect circular aperture down to f256.
