Charlotte Boyum Hand Painted & Signed Tulip Bell w/Gold Description This is a Vintage Charlotte Boyum Hand Painted & Signed Tulip Bell is accented with Gold.on the stem and around the border. The bell is made of porcelain. The size is 3" High with a 2 1/4" diameter base. There is in excellent condition with no chips, or cracks. This is a great addition to your Bell collection. *B016*. I have been very fortunate to meet a wonderful lady in Minnesota that shared with me the story of her brother. Lawrence Miller was a simple man with a great love for general farming. He loved his dairy animals and farming 110 acres of his land in Southeast Minnesota. He had an unusual love for bells which turned into a hobby in 1998 when he saw his sister's collection of 200. During the next 12 years he would go to flea markets, rummage sales and estate auctions where he would pick up a great many of his beloved bells. Some of his bells are antique, some are newer, but all were very loved. Unfortunately Lawrence passed away in 2009 after a tragic accident. He was clearing a piece of land in the woods with his brother-in-law, a tree fell on him and pinned him over the steering wheel of his favorite John Deere Tractor.
