NICE CHINESE CARVED JADE FLORAL MATCHBOX HOLDER& TRAY Presented is a fine Chinese carved jade matchbox holder that rests on a matching carved jade tray. The matchbox holder is very nicely carved with floral designs in the corners and a flower finial at the center. This piece was probably made around the 1920s. The matchbox holder and tray are in great overall condition. The tray has a chip on the rim as you can see in the fourth photo. Otherwise, the jade has only a few minor surface abrasions. There are no other chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The matchbox holder measures 1 3/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches and is 1 1/2 inches tall. The tray measures 3 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches.
