is a absolutely stunning Antique Genuine Elephant Tusk Ivory bowl. I found this astounding piece at an Antique shop on my treasure hunt. The bowl is hand made in Hong Kong as stated on the tag. It measures 4" in height. Decorated throughout with dragons and very detailed supurb engraving. The dragons eyes are black and they appear to be chasing a ball. E xtremely amazing! I posted several pictures to give you a all around look. Ivory is very hard to come , and is extremely rare and beautiful. I was told this is at least from the 1950's. T is some slight wear on the bottom, possibly from shelf. This piece originally came from an estate sale, and the previous owners traveled the world and brought back many artifacts. Tfore this piece was legally imported in the U.S. -during the timeframe of the 50's-70's. I don't know the species of elephant it was derived from. Since I found this at an Antique store, the piece could be much older than stated. I'm not sure if it has ever been used--I just know this will be an important part of your collection and I want to cover absolutely everything.
