Many years ago I attended an estate sale and found this small, battered box which contained a broken rosary, many of the pieces broken and a complete description from the manufacturer, Corona Del Santo Rosario in Rome. The same description is written in 5 languages, I didn't have room to show them all. Most of these beads are very worn and feel like plastic, but they describe it as "ivoryline" and each bead is actually engraved with the litanies of the Blessed Virgin. As I said, many of the beads were broken and some missing but I took the good ones and made this rosary necklace. I used gold-filled wire which will not turn. The crucifix I used is brass with raised figures. One side says "Jesus, Mary, Joseph Pray for Us", the other side is "Saint Christopher Protect Us", Italy. The necklace itself is about 26" and the bottom bead and cross are about 2 3/8". Each bead and the cross are all wire wrapped and quite sturdy. This is a one of a kind piece. The Civelli rosaries like this are very difficult to obtain, I do have one that is luckily for me, in perfect condition. I am now including the few leftover beads & original cross in the original box it came in. This will include the original (very delicate) instructions in several languages with the necklace. If you would prefer, I can change out the brass cross and put on the Civelli cross. Please contact me for postage out of the U.S.A. or of course if you have any questions. Payment is expected within 7 days. I do combine shipping. I do suggest that the package be insured.
