A very nice clear molded glass powder jar with a hinged lid. The metal bands around the rim of the lid and the jar may be silver plated, not sure. It does clean up pretty good. It probably contained body powder at one time, but is now empty. There are no makers marks that I can find. There are no chips or cracks visible. There are some spots on the finish of the metal rings, but nothing bad. The applied gold metal bow will turn around, but is not loose. Some of the gold finish on the bow is worn. It measures approx. 4 1/2"X2 3/4".
