The Quilt came to me as a wedding present from my mother's cousin who lived in Bolivar, MO. The colonial ladies are appliqued on the white background. My mother had it machine quilted. The back of the quilt and binding is a lighter pink than the blocks in the front. Size is 74" x 94" The picture shows it on a queen size bed. It is from the mid 1960s. The fabric is from the 1960s and is in excellent condition. It was stored it for may years in my cedar chest being refolded regularly and in a white pillow case. I have just decided that it is no longer reasonable to keep storing it since I have no one to pass it on to since my children are not interested. Many years ago I took this quilt to a Quilt Documenting in Illinois. I had no idea that I should arrive early so I was unable to complete the documenting process. However, the lady who was appraising quilts gave me a verbal appraisal (for which I paid her) of $750. This is really a great quilt. If you have any questions, please email me.
