You are bidding on a Coushatta Polychrome River Cane Basket made by Ronald Langley. The basket measures 4" in diameter and sits about 4" high. The chain stitch around the rim is in a burgundy and black color, the rest of the basket is the natural Louisiana cane all of which was gathered and split by Mr. Langley. He was one of the finest Coushatta weavers of cane baskets, having learned from his mother, Lorena Langley, when he was quite young. He spent decades refining his weaving skills to a fine art. The other two baskets will be listed this week as well, so bid early bid often...there will not be many opportunities to purchase Ronald Langley baskets any longer. It would be great to keep these three baskets together as they have been for the past 20+ years. All of these auctions will start at $0.99 to get the bidding started though we
