This is one of those things from an estate sale that you take to Antiques Roadshow and find out it is worth thousands of dollars. If you have some constructive comments on it feel free to let me know, like if you work for Anheuser Busch and know the exact date of this. It is old. This is what it is. It is a lithograph titled Custers last battle by Anheuser Busch Brewing assoc. St Lewis Missouri. It is hugh it measures 3feet by 3feet 9inches. It is in the original embossed Anheuser Busch Brewing frame. It was neaver repainted and is a dry gray color. In the middle picture you can see the embossing at the top. The pictures are not really good as I had to make them outside with a flash, but I made them in 3 sections hoping you can see all the accurate history of this battle. On the picture it says The original painting has been presented to the Seventh Regiment U.S. calvery. Entered according to act of congress by Anheuser Busch March 30th. 1896 in the library of congress at Washington D.C. It is not in mint conditon, it does have small water spots. The blue sky is some faded. So be sure as this sale is final. It is a rare piece. I can see it hanging in an Indian casino, or maby Anheuser wants it back, or a history class, as it depicts accurate battle. On the picture it indicates Lieut. Cook, Capt G W Yates, Lieut. W Van W Reily, Sioux read more
