Custom Traxxas Summit 1/10 .99 NR! Up for auction today is a used Traxxas Summit. This has been used but not abused by an adult RC enthusist. I purchased this as my first RC truck. I wanted something that would serve several purposes and I thought the Summit would be a good choice. Since that time, I've bought three other purpose-built trucks and I spend alot of my time racing my Slash 4x4. The Summit sits collecting dust, so I figured I should sell it to someone who will get more use out of it. I used the truck to rock climb up the sides of the dams we have here in CT. Below are a couple of older pics crawling. The truck has never been under water or anything like you see in other videos. I have a boat if I want to play in the water. It has the normal scratches and scrapes that a rock climber will get, but everything works fine. The wires have been switched over to Dean's plugs because that's what I run in everything I have. One of the biggest problems with a stock Summit is the two underpowered steering servos. If you are not moving, the truck won't turn it's front wheels, so I fixed that with the installation of a Z9100T Ultra Torque Servo by JR . The stock servo puts out 125 oz-in of torque where one JR servo has 300 oz-in so turning is no problem. They go for $180, but it was well worth it. See the pictures below. The truck also comes with a custom painted Dodge Mega Cab body as well as the stock yellow body. All stock and custom stickers were reproduced and applied to the inside before painting so they don't wear off. It's a little trick I do to all my custom paints! Box, misc. tools, batteries, new axles and paperwork shown are included. All you need are batteries for the transmitter to go crawling!
