This charming 51/2" all bique doll, Molly , by artist Darlene Lane was the luncheon dinner favor doll for the dinner presentation " Dawn's Early Light", Friday, September 28, 2018 in Towson MD. Included is the program featuring the poem Barbara Fritchie", Frederick's' Poetic Patriot, bookmark, with a specially made cape for Molly. along with a pair of earrings for Molly o her owner, plus a goodie bag for Molly' owner's enjoyment.Molly has a 5 piece bisque body jointed at the shoulders and hips. Her head is stationery. She has gorgeous stawberry-blonde mohair wig, painted facial features and is dressed in a red, white and blue patriotic crocheted gown. Her painted brown shoes are accented by thigh-high black painted stockings. Molly has her own capelet, bucket of fireworks, American Flag and Maryland State Flag. Molly is displayed in a gold box which has a minor scratch on the surface, and within the box is a doll stand for Molly. Minimal manipulation of Molly was attempted to prefent wrinkling of the hair and clothing of this delightful little girl.This wonderful dinner was hosted by the Blue Ridge Doll Club of Charlottsville, VA, Region11.Enclosed is a copy of Barbie Fritchie, Frederick's Poetic Patriot. 1766-1862 (full peom)Please contact me if you as international buyer are interested in purchasing this item.
