Offering this victorian men's dresser box, covered in brown silk material; lid is adorned with raised detailed decoration of a deer peering above a leaved branch and then on each side is antlers all made from stag horn. Decorative gold finished clasp closure on front. Inside is covered in a rose pink silk. There is some fraying and shattering of silk where the accesories lay. Included are a horn handled buffer for polishing your shoes; a small glass jar with horn lid - probably to hold your shoe polish, a horn handled button hook, and a horn handled nail file. All pieces are in very good condition, no cracks or chips. Outside of box is very good, no holes, tears, or damage to decoration; clasp and hinges have age toning; top of box has a few very faint small spots. Box measures 8 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches x 2 3/4 inches tall. A very handsome piece for your collection!
