Here's some nice stemware which was made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, Ohio. This is Fostoria's Blank #2977, called "Virginia "; it was produced in this dark blue color from 1980 to 1986. This is the 13-ounce footed iced tea from the Virginia line. I've got eight of these (selling as a set), and they're all just under 7"tall, about 3-3/8" across the mouth, and about 2-5/8" across at the foot. Haven't measured the volume, but 13 ounces seems like a good guess. They're heavy things, each weighing about 1 lb. 10 oz., but that makes them pretty sturdy, and there's no damage to any of them (no dishwasher 'sickness' either, which I've discovered is a common ailment with latter-day Fostoria). They're nice things, very retro-looking (if you think of ca. 1980 as 'retro'; it was when I graduated from high school, so it's kinda tough for me), perfectly capable of performing their intended function flawlessly, and they need a new home.
