is a wonderful vintage (1960s) ALFREDO BARBINI Sommerso Geode Ashtray, with original paper label. Unusual and desirable THREE bands of color - amber, white and pink - and it's in excellent condition. The only two flaws are a very tiny pinprick area of roughness (pictured) and a 1" darkened scratch (pictured.) Both are on one side of the bowl. The shape is asymmetrical and it measures 7" x 5 7/8" x 2 1/2." Age appropriate wear to the polished base, which has a partial remnant of a sticker saying "Made in Italy." If you are a BARBINI collector, please consider this lovely piece. It is thick, weighty and gorgeous.
