Fabulous Old Wood Primitive Bowl with Red Paint Search Up for auction is this lovely old 1800's wood bowl with rim. Bowls age is determined by this rim...no rim well it is hard to date them. This bowl measures 12" by 13" a typical character of older bowls-out of round. The finish on this bowl is so superior, the inside is a very warm color, with the usual markings from use. The paint color is a nice red color.You can see the hand turned lathe lines and wood grain, just adding to it's beauty. It is an old bowl not a reproduction.
