Fenton Marigold Stag & Holly Ruffled Carnival Glass Bowl ~ Pumpkin Iridescent?Up for auction is this beautiful Fenton Stag and Holly Marigold carnival glass ruffled bowl. Because of its rich marigold coloration, I believe this be one of the "pumpkin" iridescent variations. According to what little info there is on this variation, the usual "marigold" carnival glass has a much softer color and is more often on the yellow side of the color range. Pumpkin iridescent is named for the deep, dark marigold shade resembling the coloration of a pumpkin. This spatula footed ruffled bowl measures 8" in diameter and has that deep marigold color that does rival that of a pumpkin! It is guaranteed to be a genuine Fenton carnival glass piece!CONDITION of this stunningly rich marigold bowl is excellent! There are absolutely no cracks, chips, flakes anywhere. As is normal with all carnival glass, there may be mold lines, straw marks and variations to the coloration.
