Welcome to my auction! I went on another buying trip. I have over 70 pieces of Carnival Glass. Please check my other auctions for items you might like! This auction is for a Blue Carnival Glass Ruffled Bowl. This is the "Persian Medallion" pattern made by the Fenton Art Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is unmarked. You can reference this pattern in the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass, 9th Edition on page 193. This beautiful Bowl is just over 10" in diameter. It has so many amazing colors, I don't even know w to begin! The background is a bronzy/gold color with surprising spots of teal and maroon red and t As you get towards the center of the bowl, those colors are joined by many more, different shades of green and blue, pink, yellow and more. The center is mostly magenta, but also has gorgeous colors mixed in. I guess that's what makes this Bowl unique, is that it has so many different shades of colors. I can't just say green, blue, pink, etc., because it's many different greens, blues and pinks - I love it! One point on the edge has a small flake chip on front. I took a close-up of that area. I just noticed a small chip on the back of it, too. All feels smooth, must be old. No other chips, cracks or repairs. All pictures were taken outside in natural lighting. Check out my other items !
