These baskets are very popular among collectors topaz hobnail and was only made from 1941-1944 and then again in 1959. this basket measures 8" tall and 6" across It has it's Fenton logo on the bottom.,It is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or scratches. Yellow opalescence is a hard to find item and especially in this great of condition. as Fenton did not produce it very long at all. Local estate find,Please email questions. Topaz is highly sought after among collectors. Fenton had to use uranium to get the gold vaseline color of the glass; that's why, under black light, Topaz glass glows beautifuly .. Fenton made this item from 1941 though 1943. and again in 1959. The color sold well, but wartime shortages of uranium made it impossible to continue production.
