All Pink and White! Made with soft white acrylic fingering yarn, this is a five piece hand knit dress, panties, bonnet and booties. It will fit your Patsy Baby or any 10” or 11” composition doll like Arranbee’s Dream Baby. It is knit from patterns of my own design.The bonnet is edged with white gathered lace and pink flat lace. It is tied with a pink bow. The neck edge of the bonnet is knit with short rows for a better fit at the neckline.The dress has puffy sleeves and buttons in the back with three pink flower-shaped buttons. The button placket overlaps to give a better fit around the waist. The front of the bodice is with knit with a Half Linen stitch which gives an illusion of smocking.It is edged with pink flat lace along the waist. The hemline is knit with a combination of garter stitches and seed stitches. Not only is it decorative but it keeps the hem from curling.The panties are like a diaper cover, but slip on. They are trimmed around the leg openings with white gathered lace and pink flat lace around the waist. The back of the panties are knit with a technique called “short rows”, which makes a little bump in the knitted fabric, giving room for a baby bottom and a better fit.
