Here we have a Stunning flint fossil echinoid, on a flint nodule, found along the Thanet coastline in Kent. This echinoid, is a Micraster coranguinem, it has been preserved in flint, on a nice little flint nodule. Size of echinoid approx. 50mm by 45mm. including the nodule is approx. 75mm by 60mm. Good clear features and details on this specimen. From the Cretaceous, upper chalk, circa 85 m.y.o. Thanet coastline in Kent. This fossil urchin is 100% genuine, with no damage or indeed repairs, preserved totally natural on the flint nodule. Thanks for looking, any questions, please contact.
