Here is a beautifully restored 1920's Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. This is Not a replica Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box. This "smaller style" Fire Alarm Box is made of cast aluminum (herculite) and steel. The Fire Alarm Box and Telephone have a powder coated (baked on enamel) finish with professionally hand painted lettering. On the side of the Fire Alarm Call Box is a 1930-40's Western Electric, Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. The telephone handset is the older F-1 style and is made of bakelite with a Cloth Covered Handset Cord. The modern day telephone components are located inside of the Fire Box. The Fire Alarm Box "white" Pull Handle and Mechanism Lever are both spring loaded and automatically return after being pulled down.Please note, a "VoIP" (Voice Over Internet Protocol) Telephone System such as available through Vonage or other Internet carrier will require a converter not provided in this auction. This Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone will work fine with regular telephone service.The Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone has a one year limited warranty from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company and was professionally restored for "INDOOR USE ONLY".
