Here is a beautifully restored 1920's Gamewell FIRE ALARM CALL BOX TELEPHONE from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. This is NOT a replica Fire Alarm Call Box. The Fire Alarm Box assembly is made of cast aluminum and steel. The Fire Alarm Box and Telephone have a powder coated finish (baked on enamel) and is professionally hand painted with "Gold" lettering. The Pull Handle and Mechanism Activation Lever are spring loaded and both automatically return after being pulled down.Attached along side of the Fire Alarm Call Box is a 1930-40's Western Electric Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. The telephone handset is the older F1 style made of bakelite with a Cloth Covered Handset Cord. The modern day telephone components are located inside of the fire box. The name for this style Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box is a "Vita Guard" or "Smaller Cottage Style". Please note: a "VoIP" Voice Over Internet Protocol Telephone System such as available through Vonage or other Internet carriers will require a converter not provided in this auction. This Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone will work fine with "regular" telephone service.This 1920's Gamewell Fire Alarm Call Box Telephone has a one year limited warranty from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company and has been professionally restored.
