You are viewing a super rare early doubled sided Gulf Refining Company porcelain flanged sign, measures 22 ins long by 18 ins tall with a 2 in flange, has 5 holes for hanging, wtg is 7 3/4 lbs, very heavy ,has areas of restoration on edges ,the word gulf , g and s in gasoline , has stains and scratches, but overall a super great find, of a early gulf porcelain doubled sided flanged sign, the history of gasoilne being that oil was discovered in 1859, by Col Edwin L.
