A lovely Wine ( or Ale ) glass that could possibly date from as early as the the Jacobite period. The method of manufacture is from one piece of glass and the foot is drawn out and the Pontil is part polished. I am led to believe that the pattern is 'Sunflower and Bird in flight' and this supposedly represents Bonnie Prince Charlie fleeing from the English. Whilst the Bowl is in excellent order it can be seen from the second and third photographs that the foot rim has several chips. The overall height is 155 mm. with a Rim diameter of 55 mm. The foot diameter is 68 mm. If anyone can confirm the date ( or date period ) please let me know and I will amend the listing accordingly. Please note that the International postage quoted is for the U.S.A. and Australia. If you are in Europe then please wait to be Invoiced. Thank you for looking.
