German Rowi 8 x 25 Small Binoculars with Case A most attractive small pair of German high quality binoculars, with fully coated lens and prisms - and all in excellent working condition; possibly from the 1960s / 70s. It has been suggested that the lens for these binoculars were supplied by the German firm of Zeiss. The only fault I can find is a small chip on the inner edge of one plastic eye cup. The lens and prisms are all pristine and free of any defects or damage, and all nicely collimated. The binoculars focus smoothly, and provide a very good defined view, with surprising definition for such a small optical unit. A beautifully designed little glass, and suited equally for either pocket or hand bag, and completely unobtrusive. Weight: 200 gms (or under half pound) Width: 105mm Height: 90mm Depth: 32mm The case is not original but doubles up nicely.
