This is a very nice porcelain trinket box with a lady/dancer sitting on top. It measures approximately 5 1/2" high and 4" wide. It is marked "#5149 Germany", has the number "59" and the rest of it is too hard to make out (see picture). It seems to have been taped together at some point in time so t is some tape residue on the piece that I will let the new owner clean as I am afraid i will damage it. The bottom portion of the box is a aqua color and has a small nick on the lip of it. The top portion has a lady/ dancer that is wearing a green bodice dress with white "lace" of sorts and green shoes. She sits on the top that is scalloped around the edges and t is a small nick on one of the scallops. Her face is nicely painted and even has red lipstick and rouge on her cheeks. All fingers are intact and t are only the small nicks that I mentioned above. Also, at her waist, t seems to be a small crazing or gap w back meets the dress - not really worth mentioning, but I am anyways! She displays well and is a very nice piece to add to your collection!!
