The GI Joe salesman sample cloth ammo belt was not mass produced for sale when GI Joe was first released. Due to the amount of work it took to produce, Hasbro decided to make a plastic version to replace it. I have spent much time and research to reproduce a convincing replica of this hard to find "rare" collectors item. I can attest to the amount of work and craftsmanship it took to make these pieces. Made from original era material. This sale consists of (2) custom crafted cloth pouches on a vintage green belt with original cloth medic pouch in a plastic display case. Add to your case display as is or outfit your display Joe. I have only recently been fortunate to acquire an original single ammo pouch for my own collection which is used for quality comparison to my reproduced pieces *(last 2 photos show original at top compared to new piece on bottom in a small case and are NOT part of this sale )*. If not for the tarnished and oxidized rivets, it is hard to determine original from new. A past complete salesman's sample belt sold for close to $1,400.00. A sought after addition to any collection. This is the twentieth set produced and is the set pictured . Due to being handcrafted there will be slight variances in finished results as was with the original salesman samples.
