GRAND DUCAL BADEN GERMANY MAJOLICA COMPOTE, 1901 Presenting this large German majolica compote made by Grand Ducal Majolica (Grossherzoglich Keramische Manufactur) of Karlstruhe, Baden, Germany circa 1901. The piece is decorated with earthy colors in gloss glazes and features floral sprays in the bowl. Other features include raised fernery, broad leaves and black trim over a pale cream background. The piece has many chips under and on the rim and base. Three hairlines on the rim and one stain in the bowl bed. Not a perfect piece. Dimensions: 9" high x 11 1/2" diameter base 6 1/2" diameter
