Most Hakata Urasaki dolls were vintage souvenirs marketed to American soldiers during the Korean war, and thus the majority of them ended up in the U.S. Genuine Hakata Urasaki dolls of this period usually bear the label "Urasaki Dolls - Fukuoka Japan" and a cleaning instruction label:'"Washable" Hakata Urasaki Dolls! This doll can easily be cleaned with soft cloth dipped in cold water.”There is one from Honolulu, Hawaii selling on ebay for $2950.
