For your consideration is a beautiful, brilliant hand cut lead crystal covered candy dish. This item is so much more impressive and colorful in person than what I can show in the pictures. The hand cut design actually reflects itself making it very hard to show the detail. The candy dish stands 7 1/2" high to the top of the knob. The base without lid is 3 3/4" high, 6" in dimeter across the opening, and 7 1/4" diameter overall. The lid has the cut glass design on the top and coming over the edge to a crystal clear portion that is 1/2" wide. This area is trimmed with a scallop cut. The base is crystal clear from the rim down 1 1/2" to w the matching design encircles the bowl, then becoming clear again w five slashes are seen between the three attached scrolled feet. This beautiful piece has no chips or flakes. T is one small area near the base of the knob that looks like it may not have been buffed out, and does not distract at all. T is a tiny depression on the edge the the design in the same area, looking at it with a magnifying glass it is not a chip, but a error by the cutter going to far with the adjacent cut. I mention these tiny flaws so that you know their presence. Otherwise, this candy dish is in excellent condition. FYI, this item weighs over 3lbs. before packing.
