This is a brand new 2-1/2” diameter completely handmade Saddle horn cap made by spur maker Paul Kelleher, signed KELLEHER on the back. It has been cut from 16 gauge mild steel and treated with a French Grey finish. A German silver Hereford bull is in the center and a brass border with a running leaf engraved pattern frames the outside of the horn cap. Lots of detailed Western bright cut scrollwork is engraved directly into the steel, and the stipple textured base gives a nice foreground and dimension to the piece.
